New Pay and Pay Packages for January and February 2015!
Effective Monday, January 5, 2015, all Line Haul, Dedicated and Regional drivers paid by mile will receive a .01 cent pay increase across the board. Also, effective January 5th, there will be an increase in the following pay programs:
- $30 Tarp Pay
- $60 Layover Pay
- $15 Detention Pay
- $50 Breakdown Pay for hours 6 through 24 and $75 per additional day
Effective Monday, February 2, 2015, there will be a second .01 increase applied to all Line Haul, Dedicated and Regional Drivers paid by mile. Starting pay will reflect these new pay increases accordingly.

Driver Pay Scale: Effective January 5, 2015
6 – 12 Months OTR, 3 MONTHS + FB Experience: 41 CPM
6 – 12 Months FB Experience: 42 CPM
13 – 24 Months Experience: 44 CPM
25 – 36 Months Experience: 45 CPM
36+ Months Experience: 46 CPM
Entry level drivers will receive a .01 increase after the first 6 months of employment. All experience levels receive a .01 Anniversary increase up to 49 CPM, effective February 2, 2015.
Our Top Performers are averaging 2,300 and more in loaded miles.
Qualified flatbed drivers will receive a $2,500 Sign-On Bonus. All OTR drivers can qualify for a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus. Driver provisions and payout events will apply.
We have increased our 4 day orientation pay for an experienced flatbed driver to $850.00. Hornady considers an experienced
flatbed driver to be someone with at least 6 months of flatbed experience in the last year or 1 year of flatbed
experience in the last 3 years and will be assignable at the end of orientation. For those drivers that need additional training, Hornady is offering $650 for Orientation and $650 per week for Training.

Per Diem Tax Savings
To help increase your wages and reduce your taxable earnings, we offer a daily $59 Per Diem tax savings. For some drivers, Per Diem provides additional take home earnings equivalent to an extra “four cent” for all miles run. A driver that is single and claiming just one deduction, earning $1,035 for the week, may see a tax savings of over $4,900 for the year or over $94 weekly.
The Performance Bonus was implemented to reward our drivers for their exceptional service and performance as a
professional driver. Our System Drivers will receive .01 per loaded mile. This program is based on loaded miles run
during the calendar month and the bonus monies are paid the following month.
